Find out what stage you're at and look at the results below. Enjoy!
Stage One: You purchase the original London cast recording (or whichever cast recording) and listen to it endlessly to the point where your parents start memorizing the songs themselves!
Stage Two: You buy the original book or Susan Kay's, and you take some time off to read the book. Even better: you read the book in an entire day.
Stage Three: You hop into your seat, turn on the computer, get online, and drain the internet of Phantom websites till you can easily recognize any Phantom/Christine actor's name and identify which company they're from. Warning: Doing this may cause eye strain - be sure to look at the worthwhile sites.
Stage Four: You start reading phan fiction.
Stage Five: You start making your own Phantom website and/or fan fiction.
Stage Six: You are able to wait patiently at the backstage door for what can be hours just to meet an actor from the production.
Stage Seven: You've seen Phantom over fifteen times
Stage Eight: You've seen Phantom over fifty times
Stage Nine: You've seen Phantom over a hundred times
Stage Ten: Your friend(s) realize all this and asked you to seriously consider medical help.
Stages 1 - 3: Chances are
you've seen Phantom once, therefore you're a newbie phan to
Phantom. Welcome to the POTO community!

You're the average, normal phan - join the club!
Stages 7 - 9: A little obsessive, aren't we? Your heart is
true to Erik - congrats!
